Training

The Good Shepherd Clinic is a fully accredited training practice and we have a passion for medical education. We are committed to training the next generations of GP registrars and medical students.

Medical students from Western Sydney University, Oceania University and University of New South Wales attend the practice as part of their training to appreciate the important role of primary care within medicine. Our reception team will inform you on the day if a student is working with one of our practitioners. If you prefer to see your doctor alone please inform our reception team on arrival.

GP registrars are required to complete general practice placements as part of their training requirements to attain a fellowship in general practice. They are fully qualified doctors undergoing specialisation in primary care and have a wealth of experience behind them after undergoing rigorous hospital rotations in the first part of their training.
